We get this question a lot: Is Stages a preschool or a daycare?

The short answer is that we're a preschool. But we understand that families need childcare, too.

Stages Academy was created to give children a real preschool experience while giving working families the full-day hours they need.

Your child isn't spending the day in a daycare setting and then occasionally getting an art project or a dance class.

 

At Stages, dance, music, drama, and art are part of the regular school day, right alongside academics.

 

Children are learning their letters and numbers, developing early reading and math skills, exploring science, and getting ready for kindergarten. They're also dancing, making art, singing, playing music, acting out stories, and learning through hands-on experiences.

It's a preschool first and foremost, but with the hours and flexibility that many families are looking for in a daycare.

 

We think that's an important distinction.

You shouldn't have to choose between a preschool that gives your child the education you want and a daycare schedule that works for your family.
